Biography & Introduction
Wei Tong was born in 1978, Anhui Province, P. R. China. He enrolled for college study at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in September 1995, the same place where he received his PhD degree in July 2004. From August 2004 to September 2006 he held a postdoctoral-fellow position at Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, CAS. In September 2006, he joined Prof. Patton’s Magnetics Group at Colorado State University as a postdoctoral fellow and began the research on microwave magnetism (spin wave) and ferromagnetic resonance. Starting from June, 2009, He became a research staff at High Magnetic Field Laboratory, CAS, China. Now he is mainly working on the technique and application of electron magnetic resonance (EMR).
