Vice Director of CHMFL

Introduction
Dr. An Xu, Professor of Environmental Toxicology and Health, Vice Director of High Magnetic Field Laboratory (CHMFL), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Dr. Xu got her master degree for public health (MPH) from Columbia University in 2001 and PhD degree from the Institute of Plasma Physics, CAS in 2004. She returned to Columbia University for her two-year Post-Doctoral project in 2005. Her currently research interests have focused on environmentaltoxicology and health, in particular the genotoxicity of particular matters from micron- to nano-meter, DNA damage induced by persistent toxic substances, and the biological effects of static magnetic fields. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles.
