Introduction
Dr. Zhang received his PhD from Technical University of Dresden, Germany in 2004. Since then he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in Osaka University, AIST and University of Tokyo in Japan, as well as a research fellow in Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. In 2010 he joined in HMFL, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) as a research professor. He has published 60+ peer-reviewed papers, and undertaken the funds from National Key R&D Program of China, and National Natural Science Foundation of China.
Research Interests
1) Development of organic semiconductor (OSC) materials and devices with novel electrical and optoelectronic functionalities.
2) Growth and structural manipulation of p-conjugated carbon based materials (OSCs, OSC-nanocarbon composites) utilizing high magnetic field.
3) Carrier/spin transport study of the p-conjugated carbon based materials.
