Biography & Introduction

Feng Chen received his B.S. degree in physics from Physics Department of Anhui University in 2002, and obtained his Ph.D. degree in physics of Condensed Matter from the Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microstructure of the University of Science and Technology of China in 2008. He worked as a postdoc research fellow in the Institute of Materials Science of Technique University of Darmstadt from 2008 – 2011, and then joined the High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Hefei, as an associate professor and promoted as a full professor in 2019.

He has published more than 80 peer review papers mainly including Phys. Rev. Applied, Phys. Rev. B, and App. Phys. Lett. etc. with the founds supported from the National Key R&D Program of China and National Natural Science Foundation of China.

Research Interest

Feng Chen’s research interests mainly focus on the functional oxides thin films, multilayers, and devices, with the fabrication methods of Pulsed Laser Deposition and Sol-gel process. The main material categories involve perovskite ferroelectric, piezoelectric, ferromagnetic and transparent conductive oxides.
