Introduction

Dr. CHEN Wenge, Director of magnet science & technology division of High Magnetic Field Laboratory (CHMFL), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and Doctoral supervisor of University of science and technology of China (USTC). He received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Plasma Physics, CAS (ASIPP) in 2002 , and he has been promoted to research fellow of the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science(HFIPS), CAS   in 2009. Dr. Chen currently research field is superconducting magnet technology and its structure design, and he has published over 110 publications on international and domestic journals, such as: Rev. Sci. Instrum., IEEE Trans. Appl. Supercond., Fusion Eng. Design., Plasma Sci. Techol., and so on.

Current research work

At present, Dr. Chen’s research work mainly focus on key scientific and technical problems research and applied technology development of High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) magnet for high field application, and the main HTS material categories involve Bi2212, ReBCO and iron-based superconductor (IBS).
