Introduction

Dr. Zhao Tao, chief senior engineer, received B.S. degree from physics department of Anhui University in 1981, M.S. degree from the Institute of Plasma Physics of CAS in 1990, doctor's degree of nuclear technique from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2005.

Research

Now his main research is on power electronics and electric engineering including converter design, high-power pulse generator, high-precision high- current steady source, power factor correction and electrical engineering design. He designed high-precision current sources in the National Synchrotron Accelerator of the USTC and high-current high-precision steady source for the super-conducting magnet in the HMFL of China. He published more than 20 papers.
