To realize the full potential of high field magnets, continuous developments of measurement techniques under high magnetic fields are essential. Our research about measurement techniques mainly focuses on the following topics:
1. Developing Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM), Magnetic Force Microscopy (MFM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) techniques in various extreme and harsh conditions, including helium-3 and dilution refrigerator extremely low temperature, as well as water-cooled and hybrid ultra-high magnets.
2. Developing high field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, including phase imaging, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), high resolution fast in vivo spectral imaging, multi-channel transmitting and acquisition, etc.
3. Developing and upgrading other measurement techniques under high magnetic field, such as the heat capacity measurement, ultra-fast optics measurement, etc.
